How laser lipolysis works
Laser energy is applied to targeted fat deposits, breaking down fat cells and reducing the volume of fatty tissue in the treated area — commonly the chin, jawline, or other stubborn pockets of fat. The treatment is also associated with some skin tightening in the area, which can leave skin looking smoother as well as slimmer.
A non-surgical alternative to liposuction
Lipolysis offers similar fat-reduction benefits to surgical procedures like liposuction, performed in-office rather than an operating room, with minimal risk of burns, infection, or scarring. Recovery is also much shorter — most patients resume normal activities within a few days, compared to the several weeks typical after liposuction.
Cost & what to expect
Pricing starts around $1,700 per session, though the exact cost depends on the treatment area and how many sessions you need — Teresa will give you a specific estimate at your consultation. Lipolysis is an elective treatment and isn't covered by insurance; ask about payment plan options if cost is a concern.

What this treatment offers
Frequently asked questions
Does laser lipolysis work for a double chin?+
Yes — the chin and jawline are common treatment areas for laser lipolysis, targeting stubborn submental fat that doesn't respond to diet or exercise.
How is this different from liposuction?+
Lipolysis is non-surgical and performed in-office using laser energy rather than surgical fat removal. It carries less risk of complications and a much shorter recovery — days rather than weeks — though results build gradually rather than all at once.
Does insurance cover this treatment?+
No — like most cosmetic procedures, lipolysis is elective and not covered by insurance. Ask about payment plan options at your consultation if cost is a factor.
